I highly recommend this little restaurant. The restaurant is part of a guesthouse. We had breakfast there at least five times. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Warning: lots of mosquitoes. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: Rs 1,000–2,000

Today I had a traditional Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch here, and it was such a special experience. I could see the food being prepared while I was sitting and waiting, looking out at their incredibly beautiful home garden. The whole place feels so cozy and authentically Sri Lankan — calm, peaceful, and made with so much care. From the very first minutes after I arrived, I felt that I had made the right choice. When the food was served, everything was kindly explained to us — what is what, how to mix it, how to enjoy it properly. And with my very first bite, I understood this is pure magic. Everything was so delicious and perfectly balanced. The spices were just right — flavorful and rich, but not overpowering. It was simply outstanding. And the owner she is such a warm, kind, beautiful lady. The way she treats her guests feels almost motherly — like she truly cares that you are comfortable, that you enjoy your meal, that you feel good. It’s incredibly rare these days to experience such genuine hospitality and tenderness. I honestly don’t understand why this place isn’t more widely known, because it deserves every single star.
