Edited after owner's comment: Your food is good, as I said, but your math is not. Look at the other reviews, many others are saying the same thing. My advice is to try not to be punitive and parsimonious. Best of luck! I’ve been here many times, the food is good and generally authentic. The problem is they’re looking to rip you off. I ordered a salmon plate which comes with two sides and I wanted to substitute so they charge me $4 for each of the substitutions, gave me one pita and charged $34?? I asked the guy why and he said ‘you don’t like it then you can have the original sides.’ There are other places just are as good without any of the attitude and overt thievery. It's sad that you never thought of reviewing how good the food is before, and yet took the time to complain about the prices. Your order comes with two sides, and you requested to substitute 2 sides and expected to get 6 sides with the plate. We allow substitutions as a courtesy so customers don't have to pay for a full order of Hummus or Tabbouleh. And I'm sure that you are aware that the price of Hummus, for instance, is not the same as the price of the Tahini sauce. And it is only normal for a restaurant to charge for what it sells.More

Had the kebbeh nayeh, babaganouj, tabouleh salad, anf stuffed graoe leaves. Absolutely delicious, food was served super fast, super fresh, the pita was warm and delicious. Service was amazing, atmosphere was very relaxed on a Monday evening. Suggest coming as a larger party and ordering many dishes to share. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian offerings, by the very nature of the cuisine works well when ordering many dishes and mix and matching. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. Wheelchair accessible bathroom. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pita, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Kebbeh Makliyeh, Salad Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Parking options: Free parking lot, Paid street parking

I recently visited Sunnin Lebanese Cafe and I have to say, it was an incredible dining experience that exceeded all of my expectations! What really blew me away was the food. The Rekkakat were hands-down the crispiest I've ever had - I couldn't get enough of them! And the Fatoush was unlike anything I've tasted before, with the pita bread being smoky and crispy in just the right way. The Koussa (stuffed squash) was also amazing and prepared exactly how my auntie makes it, which was a pleasant surprise. But it wasn't just the food that made Sunnin Lebanese Cafe stand out - it was the service as well. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. And even when we brought my service dog with us, it was no problem at all. Overall, I can confidently say that Sunnin Lebanese Cafe is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Los Angeles, and certainly the most authentic Lebanese food I've had in the city. From the amazing Rekkakat and Fatoush to the warm and welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, everything about this place was top-notch. If you're looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience, then Sunnin Lebanese Cafe is an absolute must-visit!
