If you’re on Koh Samet, this place is well worth a visit. Located within Paradee Resort, it opens at 5pm — and by 5:30 most tables are taken, so it’s worth getting there early. The sunset views are stunning, and the service was excellent — the best we experienced on our trip. On the food and drinks side, the Scarlet Heatwave cocktail came highly recommended by the hostess and didn’t disappoint. The Thai green curry with chicken and sticky rice was also a great combination. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was pretty good, and the view was nice as well. Most of the staff were fine, but some staff members treated customers poorly. Even if we are not hotel guests, we still paid to use the restaurant’s services. The way I was treated felt like I was asking for free food. There were even staff standing outside the entrance inviting customers in. One particular staff member had an unfriendly tone and kept emphasizing the prices as if I couldn’t afford to pay. Before we had even finished eating, they came to clear the plates away. Were we supposed to eat the rest with our hands? I hope the management will seriously consider improving the service.
