We've been there yesterday and never again. The fish was soggy, my wife expressed the dissatisfaction since we started eating . Straight after she has stomach pain and generally felt unwell. The chips were the worst we ever had moreover the beans for the kids meals were literally cold, placed from the can in the bowl. Service was really not up to the amount we have paid for. Please avoid so you do not get health problems after. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

The worst chippy I've been to in a while, ordered my daughter a kids meal. The chips were like bricks. I was too afraid of breaking my teeth on them, a child is never going to be able to eat them. I advise you to go try somewhere else before wasting your money here. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Popped to margate as my misses had a wellbeing day off from work and we fancied fish and chips and thought we'd try Sunset fish bar.. Great place inside and out, and staff very friendly. Best bit they have a Alcohol licence, so we opted for Cod n chips and a pint.. the fish is thick and flakey and nice and tasty without been greasy or oily. All washed down with nice cold locally made IPA. Recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40
