Sunset Restaurant, located in the diplomatic area, is an old school diner. The interior will transport you back in time to the early 90's. The delicious food consists of both western style and middle eastern style dishes, all at very affordable prices. Many returning customers have fond things to say about their "Super Club House Sandwich" (just under 3 dinars), that comes with grilled chicken, roasted beef, fried egg, cheese and vegetables, served with fries and coleslaw. I am a fan of their traditional Arabic breakfast (around 3.5 dinars) that comes with foul madames, hummus, baked beans, egg/tomato/ground beef mixture, served with fresh bread and tea or coffee. Note: They are cash only. Parking is difficult during the day time due to the diplomatic area being a busy business working area.
