According to the reviewers' opinions, the staff can be boorish. Terrific service is what many guests point out characterizing Sunset Steak and More. In comparison with other restaurants, Facebook gives this place a below average rating.

I'm not familiar with Yelp so I missed a message from someone either from the establishment or really cares about it. Attached is a screenshot of what he said. First off I am Native American, Mexican, Spanish & Italian. So I may also be a white bitch but I'm a white bitch who knows a disgusting establishment when she sees one. Review is negative a million stars. But I would be shocked if they are still in business.

We received their flyer and were excited to try a spot with free delivery. They answered the second number listed and took down our order correctly as well as giving us a well timed delivery. Food arrived and deliver driver was courteous. The food however was not that appetizing for our taste. The Sirloin Tips sandwich mainly consisted of fatty pieces. The bacon burger was dry and rubbery. We decided not to eat the chicken fried steak sandwich. The fries and onion rings were overly oily with no seasoning. If this is your type of food then guess this is the place for you. Sunset is most definitely not the place for us.

I should have read YELP reviews first but I did not. Do NOT order or eat any food from here. This place is disgusting, the food is inedible, the "management" is extremely unprofessional and rude and the actual place/location should be put out of business. I have no idea how they are still an active business but I am working on this aspect of trying to shut them down. Keep in mind I rarely use YELP but I am so against Sunset Steak and More that I am compelled to tell my story. Here's my experience: I drove 12 hours, got to my hotel and was famished. I would have loved to physically gone to a nice restaurant which I knew & trusted but I was so tired. Instead I asked the hotel staff for some suggestions and they handed me a few pamphlets. 1. I called Sunset Steaks & more. I couldn't understand the person on the other line, their accent was strong and they spoke very fast & broken english. My gut said hang up but I was so tired and hungry and my other choices were not appetizing. 2. I ordered an appetizer and fettuccine alfredo with chicken b/c in my opinion it's the hardest thing to "mess up". 3. I asked to pay via CC but they said their CC machine was broken. 4. The total order should have been around $20 b/c the pasta was $9.99, app was $5 & soda was $2.50 (delivery free). 5. An extremely dirty and disheveled man came to my hotel door and delivered the food. It came to $24. I asked to see the receipt but he didn't have one. Again, I was starving, tired and just took the food. He was asking me where I was from, why I am here, etc. I took the food and closed the door without engaging. 6. The appetizer was burnt. There was no sauce on the pasta, the chicken was over cooked & burnt, overall it was unbelievably dry. It was inedible. 7. I called the number back, asked to speak to the owner. Told him the issues with the food, he argued with me and told me I was making it up. Ridiculous. After arguing with him for a few minutes he said he would refund me $12. - He was going to send someone back to the hotel and give me the $12. - It never happened. 8. The next day I drove to the location w/ all of the uneaten food in hand. It was in the ghetto, in a small corner like "strip mall" w/ 3 businesses. I walked up to Sunset Steaks & More and the black screen door was locked from the inside. I banged on the screen door, the guy who delivered my food opened it and he remembered me. It was a giant 30x30 (possibly bigger) open room with old boxes, tons of cases of soda cans, old TVS, VCRS, old furniture, kids toys, etc. It looked like a hoarders house. There was a counter on the back wall but no register. There were two small rooms in the back but they didn't look big. I have no idea where they cook their food. The place was disgusting and not a restaurant. - The guy remembered me he said "someone tried to bring me my $12 last night but couldn't find the hotel." - I said, just please give me the $12 so I can get out of here. I felt so uncomfortable. - He began to argue and talk in circles. I said I was going to call the police. He said, "what are the police going to do? Plus, this isn't the food I cooked for you last night." - I started to dial 911 and he gave me the $12. ***Keep in mind, $24 is not worth my time at ALL but I was not going to be scammed by SS&M. My husband and I own two companies and would not be in business if we treated customers this way. Also, if our products were even close to being as bad as what Sunset Steaks & More delivers we wouldn't have made it past 3 months. We've been in business 12+ years. Do NOT eat here. I went above and beyond to see this place for what it is. I have no idea how anyone gives this place more than 1 star.
