We popped in on a rainy Sunday, as we were travelling to South Coast. We had 4 Sunday roasts - came out incredibly fast. Never knew that the roast potatoes can be that good ! I had the trio wich is basically all their meats (beef, lamb and turkey) and I can say this was the best Sunday roast I've ever had in a pub (multiplied by 4). Nice atmosphere throughout, we will definitely be back when driving through the area ! Compliments to the chef ! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast, Roast Beef Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

Have eaten at the Surrey Oaks a few times before but disappointed at our latest visit as the quality appears to have declined with the New Chef. The roasts are served with a big Yorkshire and large roast potatoes which were not crispy and hard in the middle, perhaps cutting them smaller would have been sensible and the small amount of Pork would have been better if not so much fat. A bit shy on the amount of vegetables served. We also had the Cod and Chips which is served on a small plate with about 10 chips which is poor value at £18.50 and looked more like a kids portion so a little disappointing how things have changed. And yes we did ask to speak with the Manager who came to our table but didn’t appear interested and just walked off. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Fabulous!!! Had an amazing meal yesterday evening. Food is just delicious and I love love the menu. Couldn’t fault a thing - great service, great staff, great pub, great food. Looking forward to my next visit. Dan was a complete star organising all our food in advance as we were running late and due to arrive as the kitchen closed.
