We tried this omakase for the first time and had a great experience. For the price, it exceeded expectations. The staff were very friendly and entertaining. They have a cool art gallery as well. It's $60 for a 30 min lunch or $75 for a 45 min dinner. They do like a speed omakase for ppl on the go.

Review is written after my 2nd visit. Visits were about 4 months apart. This a good "omakase 101" experience if you are looking for an introduction or simply don't want to put out a lot of $$ for a more traditional experience. As the name suggests the tasting bar is hidden by what appears to be an art gallery. Your reservation will begin promptly and the time seems to fly by. You will be done in 45 min or so. It's what you (and I) signed up for but at times it does feel a bit rushed. Quality of the fish is fantastic. The chef's do a wonderful job of explaining each taste and you are welcome to engage & ask questions. There's even a bit of joking around which helps makes this a not so stuffy experience. The restaurant is BYOB (wine).

I love this place! No frills, quick, and every bite is delicious. I'm used to getting some 'filler' sushi pieces for an omakase leading up to a few stars of the show; but every piece at Sushi By Hidden is a star in and of itself.
