One standout is their bonsai (spicy tuna version) with wrapped cucumber – it’s not only visually stunning but also incredibly flavorful. The balance of textures and freshness is remarkable. Sushi Cho is the perfect place for those seeking a genuine and unforgettable sushi experience. The Chef graced us with a signature piece to try on the house. Thank you for all you do! Can't say how much I love this place. Not only was the sushi authentic and fresh, the size of the rolls and the variety of rolls wa just incredible. Also, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of everything they offered. They knew the menu so well, that I was able to point at pictures on the web and at other people's tables to get what I wanted. Even after all that I still left with fomo as other people continue to order more items that looked amazing! Freshest sushi I’ve had in VA. Their sushi rice is surprisingly good and well seasoned (never thought I would compliment rice but here I am). I thoroughly enjoyed the Chirashi despite it lacking a variety of fish that I’m used to in other places. They don’t give you the bells and whistle or go over the top with their presentation but they focus on quality instead. Half way through the meal, I think they saw how much we enjoyed the sushi so they gave us this flaming sushi bite on the house. And when they saw my sister and I fought for the bill and heard me say “pls take my card cuz it’s her birthday” they stopped us from leaving (this is when I already signed the bill) and gave us free desserts!! It’s rare to get both quality food and service in a restaurant but I think this place got it. Not to mention, their decor & vibe is so cute! Thank you Sushi Cho, I will definitely be back!!
