Stopped by for a meal and had a disappointing experience with the food. The mango in the sushi was sour and tasted like it was previously frozen. The Bibimbap was very bland even after adding all the sauce, and the Beef Teriyaki lacked flavor—I had to eat it with wasabi just to finish it. That being said, the staff was actually quite friendly and welcoming. It's a shame the food didn't live up to the service. Overall, wouldn't return for the food. I frequent Sushi Misoya quite a few times throughout the year and it’s always been really good! Their fish tastes fresh, never “fishy” like some other sushi restaurants in Maple Ridge. I always do take-out so I cannot speak to what a dine-in experience is like (their dining area is limited), but their online ordering and pick-up service is smooth and seamless. The staff always greets me upon walking in and is kind and friendly during checkout. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CAD 20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Recommended dishes: Roll, Miso Soup
