Title: A disgrace to Hong Kong: World-class prices for bottom-tier, trashy behavior. Let’s be clear from the start: the sushi here is good, but that is where the compliments end. For a restaurant where you spend nearly (HK2,900+) for a meal, the overall experience is a complete and utter disgrace. I have visited this establishment twice, spending over HK$2,900 in total, and I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic human decency. 1. Total Incompetence and Neglect: During my first visit, we were accompanied by a professional translator fluent in both Mandarin and the local dialect. Despite this, the staff was profoundly incompetent. They refused to focus on the order, asked the same questions a thousand times, and still brought the wrong dishes. My second visit was no better—our requests were ignored, and the staff seemed completely disinterested in performing their basic duties. 2. Appalling and Hostile Conduct: The most disgusting part of this experience was the behavior of the staff. When a mistake occurred, instead of apologizing, the entire team—including the waiters, the chefs, and the management—started laughing, snickering, and openly mocking us in front of other diners. They actually discussed us with other guests while pointing in our direction. This is not just a service failure; it is a display of low-class, uneducated behavior by people who clearly do not know their place. 3. Shameful Management: Shame on the directors and the founders of this restaurant chain. In a global city like Hong Kong, where international guests are a vital part of the society that provides you with business, this level of hospitality is a scandal. Your personnel are completely untrained in the culture of respect. They behave as if they have never been taught basic manners in their lives. Such establishments should have their licenses revoked and the entire staff sent to specialized schools to have professional standards beaten into their heads. 4. The Audacity of the Bill: No apologies were ever offered for their blunders or their insults. Yet, they have the nerve to include a mandatory service charge in the bill. Taking money from foreigners while treating them with such contempt is a predatory and shameful business model. Verdict: You might get decent fish here, but you will also receive a "circus" performance from insecure, rude staff who do not understand the first thing about hospitality. Do not waste your money or your dignity here. There are plenty of incredible places in Hong Kong where you will be treated with the respect you pay for. This place is a stain on the city’s reputation. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Sushi by Rin, oh, how my essence transported back to the moment I first indulged in the seafood delicacies of Tokyo. Fond memories rekindled as my tastebuds melted against the buttery goodness of the Uni/Kina. The lightly flavoured bed of rice paired beautifully with the sea urchin. All sashimi was perfectly sliced, as the sushi chefs were carefully preparing each seafood and sushi with great skill. Part of what makes sushi delicious is not just the freshness and the quality of the seafood, but the preparation of the sushi rice. Sushi by Rin has excelled in every domain of what I deem a perfect sushi. The nigiri had a perfect ratio of topping to rice, which is what many sushi restaurants have failed to achieve. The Eel rice bowl was absolutely worth the wait, as the tender yet bouncy flesh sat on my tastebuds. Thank you for an incredible meal. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
