I am a sushi chef and I often try different sushis around the Côte d’Azur to analyse my competition that being said, I don’t think I need to worry about this place. This was the worst sushi I have tried in the area. The rice was way too sticky and very overcooked, the salmon tasted a little off and was too oily, and instead of spicy mayo or sriracha they used togarashi to make the roll spicy which to be honest didn’t taste good at all and didn’t make it very spicy. Communication when making the order was good, the man spoke English even though I was trying to practice my French, and he was very kind and patient. They may have been having a bad night, but that rice was BAD, it should have been thrown out, and they should have made a new batch. As one of Vence’s only sushi delivery services, I think it could use a lot of improvement.
