Sweet Rose, situated quietly on Mukojima, offers a casual and cozy atmosphere for diners in Tokyo. The restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, serving brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert. With a range of offerings, including small plates and an assortment of beverages like alcohol, beer, and coffee, it caters well to different tastes. Despite offering table service and accepting reservations, note that Sweet Rose doesn't provide delivery or have accessible options for those in wheelchairs.
Past visitors have noted the intimate feel of dining here, supported by attentive staff and dishes served on handmade pottery crafted nearby. Specialties include rice prepared in unique clay pots and flavorful dishes like beef stew and sashimi. Though some reviewers enjoyed special meals tailored for children and the presence of an English menu, it's crucial to point out that feedback and reviews are rather outdated, with the most recent one being six years old. As such, potential guests might want to inquire further or visit in person for any updates or changes to its offerings or menu, particularly since there's no active channel of communication provided by the owners.

Fine dining coupled with a warm welcome! This small gem is hidden down a quaint alley not far from The Hikifune line. The attention to detail starts at the handmade pottery see for the dishes and made just next door. The restaurant specialises in rice cooked in special clay pots to give a delicate taste. The sashimi was beautiful! The beef stew hearty and the pork marinated in miso delicious. Even the salads and pickles were wonderful. They prepared special kids meals for our boys with burgers. They have a clear English menu which is a help. The husband and wife team were lovely and so patient with our boisterous boys. Definitely worth making an out of the way visit for and we will definitely be back!
