Excellent atmosphere and pastries! This is a really wonderful place. My only critique is that the beverages are often very watery. Even when whole milk is included, they just are not the creamy texture that you would want for a chai latte or a matcha or an iced coffee. I think if this could be improved, everything else is perfect! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Gia, thanks for the great review and so happy you enjoyed your pastries. Our chai and matcha are made in house. They are unsweetened and we use either real milk, almond milk or oat milk. The consistency may be different from others since there are no added sugars. However, we are happy to add cold foam or any sweetener of your choice to give them a creamier consistency. In a world of chain cafes, thank goodness Sweets & Java exists. The food and coffee is always great, and I'm especially fond of the assortment of pastries. What keeps me coming back is the atmosphere: authentic; human; defies the formulaic; the playlist is always A++ eclectically wonderful. I've been a regular of Sweets N' Java for quite some time now. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The space is clean, and the atmosphere is cozy and charming! Definitely worth a visit if you are in town and need an excellent cup of coffee or tea, and a delicious pastry or sandwich!
