Amazing scratch made food in the middle of no where Oklahoma... at the time being ran by 2 ladies, who work from 6 am to 8 pm except Saturday. The food was exceptional, and the portions were hugely outta control. Not something you see everyday... plus the cost was shockingly low considering today's economy... if you just happen to be rolling down Hwy 1 in Oklahoma between McCalister and Ada you should stop here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I were looking for a new place to have dinner on a Friday night and i mentioned that I drive past a little diner in Calvin, Oklahoma that routinely has a packed lot at lunch. She said let’s try it and sure enough the lot was packed for dinner also so we parked around back. Now this little diner isn’t fancy but it was as clean as it could be and was full of locals who all seemed to know one another and enjoyed dining. My wife and I both opted for the Friday night special of fried Catfish and shrimp. We both chose hand cut fries and i opted for fried Okra and she got the broccoli salad which was delicious. Our fish was perfect and the fries were a plenty, the hush puppies were golden brown and we pushed hard to finish our meal but fullness set in first. I highly recommend you give this little diner a try if you’re ever in the area because you won’t leave disappointed or hungry. I also must mention that the prices were very reasonable, the catfish dinner with fried shrimp came with your choice of 2 sides and hush puppies for $14.95. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have had a lot of different things on their menu and everything is excellent. Not many places left like this where everything you order is great. Highly recommend T-Jays
