T2 Traders is pretty near Sanibel Historical Museum and Village. If hungry, come here for perfectly cooked scallops, tuna and fish tacos. You can have good key lime pie, bread pudding and fruitcake at this bar. It might be nice to enjoy delicious gin, wine or margaritas. As clients write in their reviews, tonic served at T2 Traders is great.
The homely atmosphere of this place allows customers to relax after a hard working day. The well-trained staff welcomes visitors all year round. Tried the re-opened T2 Saturday nightoriginal T2 was SO much better for us. Original Margarita flatbread was one of the best along with their othersnow the flatbreads are not so flat, half the size & more expensive, plus they don’t offer a Margarita anymore. I ordered the olive & onion and asked if they could put Brie or Gruyère cheese on it instead of goat cheese & was told NO because Gruyère doesn’t melt very well (even though it was on another flatbread) & then was told there are absolutely No substitutions made so NO to the Brie cheese too (this cheese was also on another flat bread.) This makes me think they are pre made & frozen & in the end it wasn’t very good anyway. My husband ordered the lamb burger medium rare & it was delivered well donewhen he brought it to the waiter’s attention he was told that is the color of the meatgrey! French fries were not available that night so they were substituting (although customers can’t substitute) tri colored potatoes. My husband asked them to leave out the sweet potatoes & they said no problemhis dish was delivered WITH the sweet potatoes & the waiter said they were pre made that way so my husband would just have to pick them out. I could go on, but you get the ideaone of our favorite restaurants turned into a restaurant we’ll never go to again. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

We have never been to Traders 2. Food was amazing. I have celiac so the braised short rib tacos with authentic homemade corn tortillas were a special treat for me. I never dare have anything but felt safe here. Highly recommend this restaurant. The blood orange margaritas were delicious as well!
