Special place that was a little difficult to find, it’s like a hidden speakeasy. The sound system really makes it special. I tried a few Japanese whiskies and one friend got a drink made with fresh muddled pear juice! I don’t remember what everyone else had but we all loved the experience. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING OUR BAR FROM AMONG THE MANY IN BEPPU. I AM SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED THE JAPANESE WHISKY! THERE ARE STILL MANY MORE DELICIOUS JAPANESE WHISKIES TO DISCOVER, SO PLEASE GIVE THEM A TRY. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN!

I celebrated my birthday here and it was the best one yet. No kidding! From the music choices to the delicious cocktails and sooo many different combinations of drinks to try. The owner knows his stuff! I’ll never forget it.

I had a quality time in Tannel. Owner of Tannel has great knowledge about whisky & cocktail. craft cocktail is authentic, original and tasty! Atmosphere is one of the best you can experience in Beppu. The only thing he failed was recommending me another bar- which wasn’t as good as his. haha Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
