5 stars for Teras' Rye Loaf, Walnut and Raisin Bread, Choc-chip Scones, and Tofu Scones. The textures are great. The bread firm with a chewy crust and moist slightly dense inside, using little salt, the scones perfect with sable-like crust and almost biscuity inner. Teras uses the same yeast starter used to make sake. Maybe that is the key ingredient, apart from the care they clearly take to make these delicious baked treasures. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Most if not all of the breads did not contain any animal products. They use grapeseed oil and a kind of beet (grown in Hokkaido) instead of cane sugar in their rye bread. The Tofu Scones are a delicious option too.
