I only gave it a 3 because the girl taking our order I had to repeat it several times and then it still wasn't right. The food is always good and hot. Hope the service gets better.

This is one of those "hidden gem" places that local people love to frequent. You can tell that as soon as you stop there. I'm not a "local", and began taking a better route to work in Evansville, from Marengo, and Highway 62 led me by here. Lots of great deals on cheap eats, all very fresh and delicious. The overhead of waiting tables is cut out, and maybe that's why they can give you such great, fresh food at such great prices. Basket deals, small plate lunches, great variety. Of course I don't eat meat, and so can only speak for the fish and chicken deals, which are awesome. I'm sure it's all great. No wonder the locals go there.

My wife and I were coming back from a camping trip at lincoln state park. Decided to stop for the first time and give them a try. I got the double cheeseburger combo, and my wife got the cheeseburger combo. The burgers were really huge, not just your normal McDonald's thin burger. They were really good. We had our dog with us, and the manager(Bruce) brought out some dog snacks and water. He asked numerous times how everything was. At the end he gave us a sample of the fried chicken. Wow was it good. Bruce was a top notch manager that did everything he could to make my first experience a good one. I couldn't be more impressed. We will be returning customers. Great job Bruce
