Had the whisky glaze chicken with fries and a cold Coca-Cola . The food was delicious, the staff were genuinely friendly and everything came out quickly, which I really appreciated since my flight was in just 1.5 hours. They did initially bring me mashed potatoes by mistake but as soon as the waitress noticed she quickly corrected it and brought out my fries. Overall, a great experience especially if you’re short on time but still want a satisfying meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40

We stopped into TGI Fridays in Terminal B at DFW while killing time waiting on a connecting flight. Starting with the positive the place looked clean, we were greeted right away and seated almost immediately. The servers were friendly not over the top bubbly, just normal nice which honestly I prefer sometimes when traveling and tired. I ordered an iced tea and the FRIB sandwich which is basically their rib sandwich with the meat pulled off the bones, onions and cheese, served with fries. Now I went into this with realistic expectations. I’m sitting in an airport, not a smokehouse in Texas hill country, so I didn’t expect fresh off a pit BBQ. And to be fair, the sandwich looked a little disappointing when it came out but I still kept an open mind. Taste wise it was kinda what I expected. No bones, no gristle, no huge chunks of fat which is good, but the meat tasted like it had been cooked days earlier and reheated. Not horrible just that reheated BBQ flavor that never really works. If you’ve had ribs rewarmed before you already know what I mean. I didn’t send it back and I wasn’t mad about it. I mentioned it to the waitress and she was very nice and understanding about it. Honestly this location can only do so much inside an airport kitchen so I’m not here to bash them. Just sharing the experience so people know what to expect ordering ribs in an airport setting. Fries were decent, iced tea was good, and we actually ended up relaxing there a while and getting a second round of tea before our flight which says something. It was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. So overall this is more of a expectations vs reality thing. If you want a burger, appetizers, drinks, or just a place to unwind between flights you’ll probably be happy. If you’re craving real BBQ ribs probably not the move here. 3 stars not bad, just airport BBQ doing airport BBQ things. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. We appreciate your understanding of the limitations of an airport setting and are glad to hear that you found the environment clean and the staff pleasant. Your feedback on the FRIB sandwich is valuable, and we will take it into consideration as we strive to improve our offerings. We're pleased you found the space comfortable for relaxing between flights. We hope to serve you again in the future, perhaps with a different selection that better meets your expectations. Safe travels!
