It was quiet when I visited, but that suits me. Had a piping hot coffee and an ‘Ice Slice’ (which I’d never heard of before; but soon realised it’s a Custard Slice; either way it was bloody nice). Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The staff at the Rustic Stag are a super friendly bunch. The wait times are fair, the food and drinks are done to a high standard. They are always willing to add customer favourites to their menu. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are a great addition to the community. I just wish they could open for lonher hours, but as a small, independent business, I understand that may not be possible at present. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
