Came here for the Sunday brunch and to celebrate auntie’s birthday. The decor and ambiance of this hotel is stellar, so if it’s your first time, you feel like you're having a state dinner with international dignitaries. I like how the food and live chefs is setup on the perimeter and seating is in the middle with the fruit/dessert table. Constant refills of juice, water and champagne. Our original server was great until one of my fam was asking about something particular and he all of a sudden had no smiles and was very kirt with his service. Just a a stone face demeanor. Something wasn’t right and he stayed that way, so fam went and looked for the manager and reported him. Next server was excellent and had answers for everything. I won’t list off every dish we had, but I’ll tell you what was best imo: The Rockfish, The garbanzo stew with rice, the Prime Rib, the asparagus with cauliflower and then the ultimate winner was a side dish: The Jefferson Spoon Bread…..whoever came up with that masterpiece is bussin! It’s like cornbread but with cream or cheese and some honey maybe. OMG I couldn’t stop going back for more. Their ice cream (Mousse?) and fruit surprise for the birthday girl was stellar too. I love real ice cream from scratch. This is a must try. Even though I’m really not a fan of buffet style because of the dangers of bacteria and germs, the food made me forget about everything. Enjoyed lunch at TJ's before a theatre matinee downtown. Always enjoy visiting The Jefferson-such a gem! Menu had changed (seasonal) so tried the chicken salad sandwich. Very tasty!
