Toast is hopping. It’s a popular place, so some of the food must be stellar. That wasn’t our experience. One in our party had the full breakfast, the eggs were probably cooked on the surface of the sun. For me, how eggs are approached by the cooks says a lot about a restaurant. The edges were blackened and crusty.. who enjoys crusty fried eggs? The yolks were gelatinous and dried at the same time.. assuming because they were fried unlovingly and then left out for a moment or muuuch longer. The bottoms of the egg, also fried rice paper texture. Inedible. The “toast” portion of our meal was admittedly good. My meal was ok, but would I rather have eaten at another restaurant? Probably. It seems when reading the menu the ingredients will marry well together, but the realization of said ingredients wasn’t entirely successful. Service was fine. Perfunctory and hurried to some degree, understandable given how busy it was. The space is cute for sure. The dog onsite - adorable!!

Beste Jennifer, allereerst bedankt voor jouw review. Zoals je aangeeft zitten we midden in het hoogseizoen en dat merken we . Ondanks dat wij altijd kwaliteit boven kwantiteit als uitgangspunt hebben, kan er wel eens iets met mindere kwaliteit onze keuken verlaten, excuses daarvoor. Uw review zet ons weer op scherp!
