Great neighborhood place. No stupid tourists (other than us). Fabulous food and cheap drinks. Portions are huge!!!! We ate outside and it was perfection. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great authentic Portuguese food. We had the pork and potatoes. And olives and bread of course. It was just fantastic. And the service was great. No English but we managed just fine. Very small and cozy dining area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Bread Wine and Olives

We came for dinner after our tour guide suggested it. They only had 4 things to choose from: chicken, octopus, codfish and pork. They cook ‘pratos do dia’ and I have to say they were delicious. We had the chicken and the octopus. The octopus was super tender and had a nice onion sauce. The chicken tasted like ‘coq au vin’, it was cook in a different sauce than the octopus a little bit more sweet. It’s really small inside, they have 4 tables that can accommodate between 2-3 people. And it seems during the day they have tables outside as well. The kitchen is run by one lady and there’s just one server that seems to be the owner. He’s a real treat, he kept talking to us in Portuguese and English and was very entertaining. I can’t suggest this place enough. 2 pratos do dia, one soda, one beer, bread and olives was €28.
