Absolutely delicious! I could not believe how quiet it was. Strawberry slice tasted like it was made with real strawberries. The Oreo frappe was my favourite (I didn't get a picture because I was so excited to drink it). And, the lady behind the counter was *so lovely*. Absolutely hit this place up. Visited in the afternoon around 5pm-ish with my parents for a sweet treat . The cafe is in a great location and we always saw people going in and out so we thought we’d give it a try . Ordered : Two flat whites 1 slice tiramisu cake 1 slice pandan burnt basque cheesecake We found the atmosphere to be cluttered with lots of things around the right side of the counter . My parents ordered the flat whites both of which were cold when it arrived to the table. We asked the waitress to reheat the coffees - abysmal honestly The pandan burnt basque cheesecake had no actual pandan flavour , just seemed to be coloured green and didn’t have that velvety texture you expect from a burnt basque cheesecake - wouldn’t order again The tiramisu cake was enjoyable , nice coffee flavour and light . i hate to leave negative reviews, but i've come here twice now and decided it's mediocre at best. while on the outside everything looks pretty good and the menu is standard for many korean dessert cafes, the quality is just not competitive to literally any other cafe, especially at their prices. furthermore, being in northbridge where there's so many better options, this place is not somewhere i would recommend. the matcha burnt basque cheesecake was completely solid and the burnt flavour was ridiculously overpowering. the interior was also brick hard and very heavy, unlike the light and airy interior you would associate with a well-made basque cheesecake. i decided to give it a second chance and tried the matcha bingsu (for double), which at $19 is already more expensive than most other places, but the portion was also smaller ?? the taste was ok as you can't mess up bingsu, but it felt subpar... overall, toctoc cafe is conveniently located and definitely not the worst, but there are just so many better places in the vicinity that i wouldn't waste my time and money here.
