We ended up here because our first choice for lunch was closed, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment. The food was forgettable and felt more like fast-food quality than a meal you’d expect on Miyajima. The eel was chewy and rubbery, the tempura soba came with only one shrimp, and the meat soba was served lukewarm. Portions were small, protein was minimal, and overall the dishes lacked flavor. With so many great places to eat on the island, I would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

There are many delicious restaurants to eat in Miyajima. Torii is one of them. It is famous for its grilled oysters. We were full because we ate at different restaurants on the island all day long, but I tried the grilled oysters of this restaurant before leaving the island. I didn't regret it. The oysters were so delicious that I ordered two more on the way out and ate them on the bench across the restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch
