Let's go to a new destination, Truth Coffee Roastery. It was forecast for the temperature to be 2 degrees on my beat time, so I am carrying some warm clothing. I arrive at 6 AM, and I have the go-ahead from the owner to take pictures and videos for my review. The ambiance, design, and beautiful simplicity with comfortable seating, large windows panes with street view. There is a large crimson red marble on the wall inside the Café and a snaller slab outside the cafe, some marble sculpted seats by the windows. The Café is charming and bright with lots of natural light. There is a beeline of clients waiting for their turn, and the Café is bustling and busy. The baristas, Farhan, Yousef, Khalid, and Rajab, are serving happy customers with a smile, and it's great teamwork. The expert barista, Mr. Farhan, with over 7 years of experience, has a happy smile and is brewing some of the best coffees. The hot drip coffee V60, brewed by machine with Ethiopia coffee beans Faysel Abdosh Olucho Kibina, having a cup flavor profile notes of high sweetness, bluelberry, light aromatic soft texture, has a smooth taste and flavor. My rating is 10 out of 10. The cheese cake classic was an absolute delight, beautiful smooth, soft texture of the cheese topped with a raspberry sliced in two halves and a nice graham cracker biscuits base with a nice chewy texture paired with the V60 drip coffee enhanced the experience to the next level. My rating is 10 out of 10. The El Salvador coffee beans with a cup flavor profile notes of caramel, roasted hazelnut, full body has a beautiful color, the rich crema, smooth and flavorful was a coffee connoisseur's dream. One of the customers Mr. Mohanned sent me a voice message on WhatsApp "Ahlan Wa Sahlan, Good morning, espresso El Salvador very good." he was right! It was awesome. My rating is 10 out of 10. The brownie white chocolate is so good, the rich fudgy texture, the sweetness was on the higher side, and the sea salt topping helped in balancing the sweetness to create a decadent burst of flavors, perfect with the espresso. My rating is 9 out of 10. The artwork design created by Farhan on the coffee latte was exquisite, prepared with El Salvador coffee beans, the basics was spot on, espresso to latte ratio, the steaming of the milk, the temperature, smoothness and the flavor and taste staying true from the first sip to the last sip, showcasing the craftsmanship of the expert barista Mr. Farhan. My rating is a perfect 10 out of 10. The almond croissant with generous filling and nicely toasted almond flakes topping was an absolute winner! The experience was enhanced with the coffee latte. Day-old croissants filled with almond cream and topped with syrup and shaved almonds, yields a warm and flaky pastry that’s oozing with big almond flavor. You can find almond croissants, or “Croissants Aux Amandes” in almost every French bakery. They were originally invented by boulangeries to use-up their unsold croissants and resell them the next day, garnished with almond cream. Not only did the idea work well, but there’s very little chance you’ll find a single almond croissant left on a bakery stall at the end of the day! Bakeries have managed to transform leftover croissants into a delicious pastry that is today as sought after as croissants themselves. Almond Croissants are usually enjoyed for breakfast or for “le goûter” – the 4pm French snack time. They are also great for a weekend brunch!
