Really tasty place.
Amazing food with great service and atmosphere. Dishes are served in fancy ways, ingredients are highest quality. I would recommend to everyone who visits Sao Miguel.
My family and I came into Taberna Acor around 6pm on a Thursday night. It was pretty full in the front, so they sat us in the back. We had no reservation, but they managed to find a table for us. I would highly recommend a reservation if you're looking to dine around 7 or 8. When we left around 8pm, there were several parties waiting outside for a table. Our waitress and waiter were both excellent and super nice. We ordered a pate + pineapple jam bruschetta, a grilled beef with peppers dish, and their cheese fondue in bread. The bruschetta was the highlight of the night. I would've gladly eaten 10 of those! We also had their hot stone steak combo, which was a fun experience. I've never cooked beef over a hot stone before, so it was fun. For dessert, we had their steamed egg custard and Azorean pineapples. Definitely eat the pineapples first - or else they'll be really tart from the other dessert. This was our last meal in Ponta Delgada and it was definitely one to remember.
