Used to enjoy a reliably positive Tabibito experience but went there today and it was not good. The salmon teriyaki appetizer looked like the dregs of whatever else had been cooking, so unappetizing we didn’t even try it. The vegetarian maki was soggy and fell apart. The seaweed salad tasted like watered down nothing and felt too slimy. Edamame and spring rolls were fine but I can defrost those at home to equally mediocre results. The beer was not cold, and the bathroom was both full of mops and buzzing with flies. The waitstaff did give our kid rubber-banded chopsticks and some candies with the bill, but seemed unconcerned that we ate so little of what we ordered.
