I recently had an unpleasant experience at this Taco Bell location that I feel is important to share. After paying for my order with cash, the employee took the entire amount I handed over and did not offer any change back. I am certain the amount I gave was more than the total cost, yet no effort was made to return the difference. What made the situation worse was the implication that I should ask for my change—something that felt intentionally designed to make me uncomfortable or embarrassed. I chose not to engage, not because the change didn’t matter, but because the principle does. Customers should not be placed in the position of having to request money that is rightfully theirs.
