Don't be deceived by appearances, the food here is amazing! We tried multiple dishes as this was our first time here and everything was amazing! We tried the rellenos gorditas, a smothered burrito, a carnitas burrito, quesabirria tacos and an order of chips and salsa. Between the food and the fresh salsa bar, we all left full with smiles on our faces and plenty of to go containers (we're still arguing over leftovers). We will definitely be back! Kid-friendliness: The tacos would be the perfect size, but if your kiddo shys away from spicy, avoid the carnitas. My mild tongued kiddo loved the quesabirria tacos - full of flavor, easy on the spice! One of the worst takeout experiences I’ve ever had. Ordered food from here after seeing videos on their food. Unfortunately, I found plastic in my food. The fries were extremely soggy and the steak wasn’t high quality and filled with plastic. They made me drive all the way back and wait over 30 minutes for a partial refund on my order. They were unapologetic and told me “sorry this happens sometimes” referring to plastic being found in their food. Would recommend any other restaurant in this area over Taco River. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
