We found this place because it was close by to our Airbnb and we stopped in on our way to the airport. Everything was excellent! We had bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños and chicken tacos. That was some of the best we’ve ever had. The tacos are 29 pesos each. Highly recommend if you want some good quality local food supporting a small business. They also accept credit card! This worked out great for us since we were at the end of our trip and had no dollars or pesos left. Price per person: $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A lovely little taqueria in a family patio in El Veleta. Only 2 tables and their service cart. No set menu, they change their offerings every ~2 days, which is a great idea. We had pollo tinga & al pastor. 5 tacos and a horchata for 170MX. Delicious, and super great young adults staffing the food and service.
