Stopped by just for a Taco, but I'm looking forward to coming back here for a more substantial meal soon! Wonderful place for tacos as well as their mexican inspired cocktails. Loved their Esquites, corn on the cob, and other vorspeisen! Flan is pretty good too. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50

Stuttgart finally gets a taqueria! This place really did well with the ambiance and vibes. It was opening night, so there was still some bumps with the ordering process and service, but overall, I appreciated the preservation of a taqueria casualness. Overall, the tacos had good flavor and some authentic offerings. The carnitas were my favorite. The quesadilla birria was also very flavorful, but lacked the consommé or crunch of onions inside. Couldn't take pictures of all of the dishes, as we had to awkwardly shuffle and balance the plates as they came out from the kitchen batched by type. The guacamole was definitely fresh, but the tray of small dishes to DIY it was a bit clunky, especially with the small/crowded table. I would still recommend it over the pico de gallo. The Tlacoyo was really dry, and covered in sour cream and feta, which made it messy to eat without utensils. Also loved that this is the first place in Stuttgart to make fresh salsas and serve them in bottles on the tables. That's a welcome bit of authenticity, not acting like it's too expensive to let customers use what they want. Both were very mild, though. They also have a cool library of patio tables for customers to bring out to the park, which is a creative idea to promote outdoor dining. I believe you need to leave a deposit for the tables & chairs. They serve burritos during lunch hours. Will have to come back to give those a try. It's definitely expensive (tacos are €4.20-€5.50 each, tiny mezcalitas are €15 and a 1.2L pitcher is €72 ) , but would rather pay for quality than the garbage served at fake places like Sausalitos & Enchiladas. Cheers to Tacolega for succeeding over that. Pups welcome. Credit cards accepted. You can make a reservation for groups of 6 or more. They offer takeout.
