Fantastic Tacos & Great Service! Tacos El Franc in San Diego absolutely delivered an awesome experience. The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked up, and my order came out quickly — even though they were busy. The freshly made tortillas are a total standout; you can taste the difference right away. I had carne asada and chicken tacos, and both were delicious. The carne asada had great flavor without being overly salty, and the chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. Portion sizes are generous for the price, too — each taco was packed. I needed both hands to bite into. The tacos are full size; not your palm size street taco. If you’re in the Gaslamp area and are craving quality tacos with great service and fresh ingredients, Tacos El Franc is definitely worth a stop! For as much fame and popularity that it has acquired. The tacos are just mid. Having tried many different ones in Baja California this is definitely not one of the best. The salsas were the ones that were lacking. The adobada taco is the only one that is ok. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
