Tahini in Dundee is a great place to enjoy some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. The restaurant has a Mediterranean vibe and the staff are friendly and attentive. The baba ganoush is especially good, as are the hummus, falafel platters, chicken shawarma and mixed shish kebabs. They also offer a set menu of five courses for £24.95 which is very good value. There is also plenty of vegetarian options available. The food is fresh and full of flavour, and the portions are generous. The owner is also very accommodating and will cater to different dietary requirements with prior notice. Overall, Tahini is an excellent choice for a tasty and affordable meal.

The food was really good and portion sizes were value for money. The meze plates were delicious and the meats well cooked. Staff were attentive and we thought the cost of the meal for three with a bottle of wine very reasonable! Make a reservation before coming. I visited on Aug 8th 2024. I pleased to say Tahini is still a great place to eat in. The cold and hot Mezes were excellent: the grilled eggplant being the winner for me today. all the dishes were tasty..
