Estran Cite de la Mer is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. Indian and Vegetarian cuisines are served at Taj Mahal. The staff is very nice Unfortunately that's not all. I took a mixed grill, for €15. The meat must be cooked separately. It is presented reheated on a pan filled with oil. 2 pieces of meat out of the three on the plate, in addition to being small, were dry, there was also a prawn the size of a green bean, dried out, all without any accompaniment except for strips of fried onion in 1cm of oil. My son had some Balti lamb which he found very good, however, this morning he has a stomach ache... The food still tastes good. the portions are small. The cheese no, I've eaten much better ones. That being said, I will not return, the value for money is not there. And the restaurateur's family eating at the same time and making a lot of noise doesn't seem too serious. The gentleman who served me was polite and friendly to deal with. This low mark has nothing to do with the service. Unfortunately though, the food. It was terrible. The so called Dahl Soup was a bland yellow watery liquid with a quarter lemon floating in it and nothing but old rice swimming around in the bottom of it, nothing else in it whatsoever. The Butter Chicken ( which surprisingly, tasted the same as the soup, of absolutely nothing) was again a watery liquid with a handful of small dry tough pieces of diced chicken in it. As for the cheese naan, it had french soft cheese inside, not a good Indian cheese. I respect I am in France but I wasn't in a French restaurant, I wanted good Indian food. I was sorely disappointed with what seemed like frozen/reheated food and over priced for the quality. I had a take away which I actually went through the trouble to return it to the restaurant. The owner was somewhat displeased and begrudgingly gave me back 10€ which wasn't half of the cost. Bland slop. I won't even give it the honour of calling it Indian food. Just because its run by our Indian brothers it doesn't make it Indian food. Save your money guys. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
