I can’t say enough good things about Taj Mahal! This restaurant is owned by the kindest couple who truly pour their heart into both the food and the experience. The dishes are authentic, flavorful, and consistently amazing. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years, even back when they were at their previous location. When they had to close temporarily after losing their lease, there was honestly a hole in my foodie heart—I missed them so much! I’m absolutely thrilled they’ve reopened in Wake Forest. My go-to is the chicken korma with naan, and it never disappoints. I also love bringing friends and family here—any time someone is visiting or looking for a new place to try, this is always my first recommendation. Everyone I’ve brought has loved it. They also offer great vegetarian and vegan options, so there’s truly something for everyone. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food made with care, this is the place to go!

Delicious food and excellent service. The staff were very kind and generous. Our party of 5 had a lovely time. Highly recommend the vegetarian dinner for 2. Good variety of vegetarian food to sample!
