If you happen to visit Kamakura, you should try dango from Takeya. It’s such a cozy spot where you can grab delicious, handmade treats like the sweet chestnut or savory seaweed-wrapped dango. They even serve a nice cup of green tea to go with your sweets, which makes the whole experience feel so peaceful and authentic. It was definitely a highlight of the trip.

Hands down the best warabi mochi I’ve ever had. Pure heaven, silky and light and melts in your mouth. The kinako powder on top is dangerously addictive and the owner is super kind.
