Unfortunately, it looks like Tam Tam has already permanently closed, but I felt that this was still important to share as this was the first time I discovered that there were multiple versions of Pho. Specifically, this Northern style is less complex in flavor development and does not serve those interesting parts of a cow traditional to Southern pho like tendon and tripe. It was definitely an interesting experience to try and learn about food culture, and it is a shame that it is already closed because this was a great learning experience.

I really liked Tam Tam, it was one of my favorite places for covid take-out. I'm sorry to see it go. Hopefully , when dining is back to a more state of affairs, Tam Tam or its next iteration will be back. I will look forward to it!

We found Tam Tam Restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try, and I am so glad we did. I was very happy with our experience here. Their food, ambience, and service are all very good. I especially recommend the Beef Pho, it was the best pho I've ever had, it had a great broth and high quality meat. The Chicken Yellow Curry and Garlic Prawns were both very good as well. The decor and ambience are nice here, very unique for a Vietnamese restaurant. They also had very attentive service. I recommend coming to Tam Tam for a nice, family style, Vietnamese meal.
