One of the cleanest little Mexican restaurants that I have been in; AND without the signature Mexican restaurant stench of Fabuloso. It was an old Boomerang Diner that has been nicely remodeled. And the food..Exceptional. I had the “Tamales Mi Rancho,“ combination platter. 4 Mexican Energy Bars. I had one of each. Chicken, Pork, Cheese and Jalapeno, and Chicken and bean. It is served with a helping of meaty frijoles charro, pico, and a small scoop of guac. I asked to have a sampling of the red and green sauce on top of the tamales. Check the pictures. Be sure to ask for the traditional plastic squirt bottles of spicy and hot salsa. I can’t name a Mexican restaurant anywhere, that has better tamales. The friendly young lady serving was attentive and accommodating. Tamales Mi Rancho is off to a great start. If they keep the restaurant as clean as it was today and maintain the quality of food, they will do well. The best tamales in Muskogee.
