We ate here this evening as a party of four. The ambience is inviting yet spacious and the service was friendly and professional. When it comes to the food, wow! Every dish we had was so full of flavor and delicious. There were many vegetarian friendly dishes for those of us who don't eat meat. The Paneer dishes we had did not disappoint. If you're looking for good Indian food Poughkeepsie, this is your spot!

i have ordered from here many times. Their naan is the best. As a vegetarian the selection here is limited. A few points. The Aloo Gobi could be better. (3/5) Only place near here with Indo-Chinese (3/5) Tandoori Roti - It is so tasty you could eat just that. No side dish required. (5/5) Veg Soups - ( 5/5 ) Veg Appetizers - (5/5) Worth the price.

We had a wonderful meal at Tamarind this evening. The lighting, setting, and ambiance were calming. Service was friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. And the food was delicious, seasoned and prepared to perfection!
