We had a fantastic dinner at Tan and absolutely loved the experience. The restaurant is beautiful — intimate, stylish, and very chic, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The highlight is their open grill, where both meat and fish are cooked to perfection, giving every dish an incredible smoky flavor. The quality of the ingredients is truly outstanding. What makes this place even more special is the atmosphere: it genuinely feels like dining in a refined, elegant family setting. You share the space with others, each with your own comfort, creating a unique and immersive experience. Located right by the river, it’s the perfect spot for a cool, chic dinner in Kyoto. Definitely recommended if you’re looking for something special and authentic — a must-try experience in Kyoto. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
