The food was honestly amazing. One of the best Halal Indo-Chinese restaurants in Houston. Pictured is the sizzling Szechuan Momo’s. The best! The other item we got was the chili chicken w/ gravy. I went with my family of 6. It was a great place nice location ample parking clean. Service was excellent. But best part food was very tasty. Prices are same as other restaurant. Its indochinese fusion the lady owner from nepal and her chinese husband is the chef. I plan to go again as their food beside being so tasty and fresh some of the dishes are served by a Chinese lady in a sizzling frying pan. They have tea icecream kulfi n lemonade too. They had a 25$ buffet but we preferred la carte as chinese food we like served right from hot wok to the table. . I was planning to tip them good but 18% gratuity was already added in the bill so maybe next time around. The food was good, especially the chicken lollipops and the hot and sour soup. The service was great too. This is the second time I went to Tangra's Daughter with my family. The prices of the food were less ranging from $10 - $15, which we assumed to be reasonable. Later, when we received the bill that included the service tax 18%, which really shocked us. By reducing the price of the food, they included it in the service charge. After all the restaurants I have dined in Houston, I have never seen service charges so expensive. This is not a good practice and we were really disappointed by this.
