Tanoshi Dubbo Japanese Restaurant is a great place to go for Japanese cuisine. The service is prompt and efficient, with food coming out really quickly. The food is reasonably priced and the fish is fresh. Generous portions are also offered. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that customers have a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from teriyaki chicken bento boxes to sushi rolls, mochi for dessert and more. The food is delicious, with some dishes even rivaling those found in Sydney. Prices are reasonable and the decor is on point. The only downside is that service can sometimes be slow, but overall this is an excellent restaurant for Japanese cuisine. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love Tanoshi. The menu is so plentiful that I find myself returning to try new things very regularly. So far, my personal favourites are the prawn tempura and Salmon teriyaki main/Bento. I don't even like Teriyaki but that salmon teriyaki... de-li-cious. Definitely recommend coming to tanoshi to try some of their food. It's been my new favourite place to go to for the past three months yet I STILL have new things I look forward to trying from their menu. There's just that many options. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options in their entrees, salads, tempura, nigiri, main meals, Bento boxes, sushi large rolls and signature rolls. Kid-friendliness: They have plastic cutlery, plates and cups for young children and also highchairs for even younger children.
