Tante Bruun is pretty near Aalesunds Museum. If you have never tasted Scandinavian cuisine, you should order a table at this cafe. A lot of people point out that waiters offer nicely cooked sandwiches, chicken and pork here. Great coffee is what may make you return to Tante Bruun.

I love this cafe! As someone traveling from America to Norway, I appreciate this cafe having a wide range of syrup flavors, as well as iced coffee! There is also so much seating, tables and couches, and even some seating outside of the establishment as well. This is a great place to enjoy a cozy atmosphere, there are candles everywhere and cute decorations. The service is great as well, I have never had any barista here be rude to me as a foreigner and I really appreciate that. All in all, whether you're getting coffee to go, or sitting at the cafe, the experience is very hospitable :)

Love the locals atmosphere, unique interior hidden in plain sight away from the tourist hustle, and the “dime-a-dozen” bakeries/kafes
