The food was very good. Regional dishes if never tried before. Drinks were pretty normal. The seats were a bit cramped and no place to put our bags. It got so loud we couldn't hold a conversation so we left early. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Having travelled around Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto - Tanuki remains my favourite place of all yet in Japan. We came at least 5 times!
