A very friendly bar in a surprisingly cosy " shed". Up to 6 real ales. Enjoy a CAMRA members discount. Jorvic and Deric spotted a new brewery for me to tick off. North Pier from Sunderland. They have won lots of awards from CAMRA. Also a good selection of craft beers for those who like a bit of fizz in their beers. Price per person: £10–20

A nice way to recycle an ice factory into a bar. Sells the typical range of Tapps beers and an ever changing selection of ales. Excellent staff, and a very sociable place to visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20
