Mexican dishes are to be tried here. The hallmark of this restaurant is serving nicely cooked Tacos al Pastor, chicken and nacho chips. The accommodating staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. I would have had no idea that authentic Mexican cuisine would have existed in southern Indiana. Big hint for those looking, if there is a grocery attached or tripe and lengue is served, you've found the right place. Got the Michoacan tacos and a margarita. Both were excellent. Estimating about 4 shots of tequila were in the large margarita. So, if you're a fan of authentic cuisine this is your place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I was pleasantly surprised about how good the food and service was at Taqueria La Mejor. This place is both a restaurant and store. I’ve returned several times and sampled different tacos and platters. For spice, sample one of their various sauces. You can’t go wrong with the Habanero.
