I agree, service was horrible, food was tasteless and vegetables were extremely old. The pineapple actually smelled rancid.

Thai was on the menu on that Sunday in January 2023 while in Annapolis, Maryland. It was my treat to my friend who graciously picked me up from Rural Delaware that morning. I guess that's the least I can do. My friend actually recommended Tarin Thai Cuisine since it was a popular local spot. I'm loving Thai anyway so it was close enough that we came here for lunch before heading to the Baltimore international airport for my flight home. With that said, we arrived here around 12:15pm on a brisk Sunday morning. The restaurant was not as busy as I thought it may have been, especially because it's a Sunday in January, but still the weather was pretty good and it wasn't snowing. While the service seemed slow, we were seated promptly and ordered within 5 minutes of receiving the menu. It was interesting to see that you can order sides of duck, which I inevitably did. I did the yellow curry with beef with a side of duck. The slices of duck was amazing and definitely complimented my meal. I opted to have sticky rice as well. For the appetizer, I went for the spring rolls. It was crispy and freshly deep fried for my own satisfaction. I felt like it was a good experience here. Down time for lunch with a friend before heading to the airport to go home. My friend ordered the pad Thai, which looked pretty good when the food came out. The service here was definitely okay. I guess they were a little short staffed on a Sunday but it was okay though. Not much people there at the time when I was there dining in. I enjoyed the ambiance though. Casual and quiet along the wall, near the entrance of the restaurant. The overall experience here at Tarin Thai cuisine was fairy successful and casual, while being the quintessential Thai restaurant in Annapolis. The food was delicious and the company was amazing. Couldn't have done better, although the prices was typical of what you'd expect from a Thai restaurant, with entrees fetching $13 - $16 average and the appetizers can go up to $10 per order, depending on what you desire. For the most part though, the experience was uneventful and the service was decidedly good while being typical for any restaurant on a Sunday. Usually quiet anywhere you, unless you're just popular. On this day In Annapolis, Maryland, it was the first choice and couldn't be happier. First time I had Thai that I can remember in 2023 while traveling. It was funny to see the interactions between the owner / cook and the wait staff. Other than that, it was an uneventful experience filled with good food and amazing conversations. The restaurant itself was clean and the restaurant was nicely arranged. If you are in the area and crave Thai, consider coming to Tarin Thai cuisine. I heard it's quite popular in these parts. Totally ecommended for your daily Thai fix for sure. While the service is typical, the food is above average. Try the duck. Goes pretty well with the curry. Tarin Thai Cuisine is located at 100 Main Street in the heart of Annapolis, Maryland.  They accept major credit cards as well as cash, which is good for me as a traveler. As far as parking goes, your best case scenario would be street parking where you can find it. Fortunately for us that day, we got street parking and walked to the restaurant and it was maybe 50 feet from the restaurant. If you are big on public transportation, I'm not sure if Annapolis has a local bus system or not, but you can check if there's routes that's favorable to your location and get here for authentic Thai food. Of course, there's always Uber and Lyft for your needs as well. I'm a fan of Tarin's Thai cuisine. Hope to be back, if my future travels permit me to do so. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.5 stars for the food and me ordering the extra duck. So good! 4.0 stars for the service and ambiance. 3.0 stars for the prices. Support local! B
