Had the fish very nice, although it came with smashed potato, which was stated and I ordered smashed potatos as a side, I would have ordered something else. Lighting very dark couldn't really see what we we're eating. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A fantastic first experience at Tarshish. Despite arriving slightly more than 15 minutes late in line with their booking policy, we were still seated promptly, which was a great start to the evening. The service was second to none. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was also brilliant, with a warm and inviting vibe, beautiful décor, and cosy lighting that created the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The food itself was absolutely superb. Portions were generous, everything was cooked perfectly, and the quality was excellent. The prices were also very reasonable considering the standard of the food and service. The only reason this isn’t a full five stars is that, as the evening went on, the DJ’s music gradually became louder and louder. By the end of the night, my partner and I were struggling to hear each other across the table, which took away slightly from what had otherwise been a perfect dining experience. This was my first true restaurant experience here, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Hopefully next time the music will be turned down a little so we can enjoy the food, atmosphere, and conversation even more! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £60–70
